Common Core State Standards

The "Common Core State Standards Initiative* website where you can find complete copies of the Mathematics and ELA/Literacy standards to print out. Core Learning Resources is not affiliated with the CCSSI, but draws

its guidance and the standards from all their hard work.

Where is the state in common core state standards? If the standards are now consistent across the country why do they call them state standards? Read a brief discussion about school improvement in new core standards environments.

    

States are allowed to add 15% of their own standards to fill in curriculum areas they feel are not properly addressed by the core. Read more about this here. See if your state has adopted the common core state standards.
